Is
there a difference in support between the Cross Back, Racer Back, and
Ladder Back bras?
All
Lynx bras are designed to provide the same comfortable, high-impact
support.
Since
every woman’s body is unique, you may find that one style fits
better than the others
The
stylish and comfortable Cross
Back
design takes the
pressure off your neck. The sleek Racer
Back
design with wide
straps takes pressure off your shoulders, and both have adjustable
keyhole back closure. The Ladder
Back
has no back clasp
and is cool and super comfortable.

Are
there any other differences between the three styles?
We
definitely feel that the new Racer Backs are a better fit for someone
who may need longer shoulder straps. They also seem to have a
bit more room in the bust than the Cross Back do.
We’ve
also noticed that the Ladder Back and Cross Back have about the same
fit and support, though the Ladder Back tend to run a little bigger
overall than the new Cross Back and Racer Back do (about a size
difference). For example: if your Lynx size is 3 Dart, you should
probably try the 2 Dart in Ladder Back -or
both!
We
really recommend trying all three styles in as many sizes that your
measurements are close to first, all at the same time. In this way
you can save on return costs if exchanges are needed. Then , you’re
welcome to return the ones that don’t fit for a refund -as
long as they’re returned in new condition and within 30 days* It
may just come down to which style fits your body the best!
Many
of our customers tend to buy two types of bras; a slightly looser
fitting bra for yoga and low-impact activities, and a snug/tighter
fitting bra for higher intensity workouts, like running.

How
do I put this bra on?
The
Lynx bra is different because large portions of the bra don't
stretch. So when you put on the Lynx bra, you have to reach in and
position each breast inside the bra, making sure that the band at the
bottom is flat against your ribcage.
All
our bras go on over the head. Our Racer Back and Cross Back
styles have hooks in the back that allow the bottom of the bra to
open larger to make it easier to get them on and off. There
are three different 'channels' sewn into the band that you can slide
the hook into, allowing you to customize the fit.
Our
Ladder Back style doesn't have any hooks at all, and just stretches
and goes on over the head.
The
Ladder Back bra is made of the same material as our new Cross Back
and Racer Back bra. That means that the front of the bra is
covered with a layer of lightweight, wicking fabric. The back
straps of the bra are stretchy, but keep in mind that the bra doesn't
have a back clasp, so it may be slightly more difficult to get on and
off at first than our other two styles. We will tell you though, that
after trying it on, it may be our most comfortable style!

How
do I know if my Lynx Bra is fitting me correctly?
Great
question! The key to finding a sports bra that gives you both
comfort and support is proper fit!
A
great fitting Lynx bra will:
-
Have comfortable shoulder
straps.
-
Fully contain your breasts
without leaving extra space.
-
Allow you to breathe freely and
comfortably.
-
Provide a band that lays flat
against ribcage.
-
Have a back and sides that fit
snug.
-
Will give you great support,
with little or no breast movement when you jump up and down.
It’s
ok if ..
-
the shoulder straps and band are
loose, as long as you are getting the support you need. That's
because all the support from a Lynx bra comes from the sides of the
bra, not the straps or the band.
-
there is extra fabric between
the bottom of your breasts and the top of the band, it is completely
normal, and not a sign that the bra doesn't fit.

What
should I do if I’m not getting the comfort and support that I need
from the size I ordered?
If the fit was too small, or too
big, or not giving you enough support, we’re happy to help with an
exchange
Here are three options to
choose from, to begin your exchange order process:
1)
To find the next best size on your own is easy! Just use your
responses to the Fit Questions below to help guide you through our
Lynx Bra Size Chart. There, look for a smaller or bigger cup size,
and or ribcage size to find your perfect next fit! (Then,
just include a note with your return shipment indicating your order
#, and the size, color, and style you would like in return
-See
our Exchanges link for complete details*)
2)
Or, if you need help figuring out the next best size ~we’ve
got lots of experience helping women find great
fitting sports bras! Just email
your responses to the fit questions below, include your order number
in the subject line, and we’ll get back to you! (Please
know that it may take 1-3 business days before we can reply to
emails)
3)
The Fit Questions can also be found on the insert that comes with
every order “Lynx
Exchanges & Returns".
We actually prefer
customers use this method as it allows customer service more time
with you! Just write your responses next to the fit questions on
that page (in any color but black), and send the page back to us with
your return shipment :)
Once we receive and process your
return shipment , and look over your responses (2-10
days), we’ll
contact you via email. By viewing your answers, we’ll be able to
tell whether a different size/style will give you the support you
need.
Important
Note: If you tried on more than one size or style, be sure to base
your responses for each separately (1-11).
The more
specific your answers, the better it’ll help us (help you!).

Did you like the cup fit?
6.
Were your breasts fully contained in the bra, or did they spill out
the top, sides, or bottom?
7.
Was there extra room in the cups? By how much, a little or a lot?
7a.
Or,
was there not enough room in the cups? By how much, a little or a
lot?

9.
How did the shoulder straps feel? Were they comfortable?

Can
I swim in Lynx bras?
Yes!
Lynx bras are all designed with triathlons in mind, so you can
definitely swim in them (although
may not be quite as chlorine-resistant as competitive swimsuits).

How
do I wash my Lynx bra?
Bras
should be hand/or machine washed in cold water, and then air-dried or
tumble dried on low heat.

Will
my breasts touch in a Lynx bra?
It’s
completely normal for your breasts to touch in our sports bras.
Lynx
bras don't have any underwire or molded cups, so you won't get
complete breast separation. But with the right fit, you will
definitely get them locked down :-)
There
are three different kinds of sports bras, encapsulation, compression
and the Lynx sports bras. With an encapsulation bra there is an
underwire and a separate pocket for each breast so the breasts do not
touch at all. The compression bras are traditional sports bras that
support you from underneath and push you in so your breasts touch a
lot. Our Lynx sports bras support the breasts entirely from the side
so sometimes they might touch or they might not.
The
fit is different on everyone as everyone has different breasts and
some women may have more or less space between their breasts -hence
the 'uni-breast' look. If keeping your breasts apart is important to
you, we suggest an underwire molded cup sports bra will help keep
your breasts from touching.
